Sy Kim has served in building relationships for businesses to increase their market presence for more than 12 years, including serving as Premier Relationship Officer for Northwest Community Credit Union Premier Service Center.

His previous roles have included serving Holt International in Eugene, Oregon, connecting with policy makers and constituents to advocate for children worldwide; in affinity marketing and sponsorship leadership roles with Innocean Worldwide in Seoul, South Korea, building business relationships to grow the consumer base for South Korea’s growing global businesses organization, which includes Hyundai Motors and the FIFA World Cup partnership.

Sy’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, and a master’s degree from Korea University. He has also served for the Republic of Korea Army.

He is currently serving on the board of directors for the Asian American Council of Oregon, the Korean War Memorial Foundation of Oregon, the Korean Society of Oregon, and the Eugene Korean Association.

Born and raised in the high-tech and fast-paced city of Seoul, South Korea, his interest is focused on volunteering for community development. He enjoys hiking and golfing around Oregon with his family.
