About our scholarship
We designed our program so that we might help people in our communities who are often
overlooked by other grants and scholarship opportunities. We encourage students of all
types to apply, whether they are studying for a degree or are attending school to change
career paths.
Each year, we award $1000 (full time) and $500 (part time) scholarships to several
qualifying applicants. The funds are awarded in two parts; one during fall term and the
other during winter term after recipients turn in their grades. Recipients may reapply for
another year of the scholarship in August when we accept applications. (A recipient can
receive the scholarship for a maximum of two years.)
