Northwest Community Credit Union Overdraft Protection helps you make sure your checks are covered, even if you've been too busy to keep up with your checking account.

It's highly flexible.  You can choose from several options to use as a "backup" for when funds have run low in your checking account:

• Have funds automatically transferred from your main savings account
• Have funds transferred from another savings account, like a Money Market Deposit account
• Get a Northwest Community VISA Card, and automatically draw from your credit when checking funds run low
• Establish a Line of Credit, and automatically draw from that to cover checking funds

You choose the order in which transfers occur, giving you multiple layers of protection to make sure your checks are paid and you avoid overdraft fees.  Don't want to touch your savings?  Direct us to pull funds from your NWCU Visa or Line of Credit accounts.  Want to avoid using credit?  Set it up so funds are drawn from your savings.  Any way you choose, Overdraft Protection gives you some added peace of mind.
