Frequently asked questions about eStatments
"Who can use eStatments?"
Any checking account holder who is a member of Northwest Community Credit
Union, has an eMail account, and has signed up for On-Line banking.
"Do eStatments cost me anything?"
No, they're another feature of our
free On-Line Banking.
"Will I still receive my paper statement in the mail?"
There may be a slight delay, but
your paper statements will stop being sent out within one month..
"Can I cancel my paper statement now? How do I do that?"
Your paper statement is cancelled automatically when you sign up for
eStatements.
"Will the eStatments come directly to my eMail box?"
No. You will receive notification that your statement is ready on the
eStatments site. You will need to visit the eStatments site to view your
statements. This way your information stays secure.
"Is my information secure?"
Yes. The eStatments site is a
secure website. Read
their privacy and security statement here. If you download eStatments to
your computer, treat them as you would other private information.
"Will I get my statements quarterly or monthly?"
Monthly: If you have a checking account, VISA card or Electronic Fund
Transfers (EFT) to your accounts, you will receive statements monthly.
Quarterly: If you do not a checking account, VISA card or EFT, you will
receive statements quarterly.
"I don’t see any eStatments when I log into the site. What is wrong?"
If you just signed up for eStatments, you may not yet have a current
statement available for viewing. You must wait until the current statement
cycle is complete before there will be a statement to view. We do not currently
have the option of retroactively generating eStatments from statement cycles
that passed before you registered for eStatments, but remember, you may always
check your balance and transaction history for the past 90 days with On-Line
Banking.
"I can’t get any eStatments from before I signed up. What's the deal?"
You will receive your first eStatement at the end of this statement cycle.
Each statement will be available for you to view for one year.
"I registered for eStatments, but I haven’t seen notification in my eMail. What happened?"
Make sure you are checking the correct eMail account. Did you receive
any confirmation eMails from webmaster@nwcu.com?
If not, you may have entered your eMail address incorrectly. If you think this
may have happened,contact our phone branch at 1-800-452-9515.
"If I decide I don't want to use eStatments anymore, can I cancel this service?"
Yes. You may cancel your
service at any time. Your paper statement will automatically be reinstated.
