grocery store, over the phone or on the Internet. Whether you're buying a pizza
or making reservations for a vacation, it's the fastest and most convenient way to pay.
You can also earn cash back when you shop at select local and online merchants when you
verify your card at Rainbow Rewards.
When you use it for most purchases, it also makes it easier to balance your
checkbook. Ever write a check and later forget the amount, or who you wrote it to?
That doesn't happen with VISA debit transactions. They each appear with a full
description of who you paid, when, and how much, whenever you log in to our
On-Line Banking site.
It's faster and easier to use than writing a check, safer than carrying cash or
checks. If it's ever lost or stolen, your liability is limited when you report
the loss promptly, and your card can quickly and easily be replaced--even with rush
overnight service if you need it.
Using your card at an ATM
There is no fee if you use your card at Northwest Community's ATMs or at any of the
hundreds of ATMs which are on the
CO-OP Network
list. Consult this directory or call us when you need to find your nearest
surcharge-free ATM. Not all credit unions participate on our ATM Network.
It's a good idea to find out where your closest ATM location is before you start.
If you’re going to use a non-credit union ATM, you may be charged a fee; however,
there are some banks which do not charge a surcharge. Such banks (though rare)
will have a notice near the ATM that states, "No Surcharge."
