Our traditional certificates allow you greater choice than
you'll find at most institutions. Choose a deposit amount beginning at $500, and a
term of 90 days to 6 years. These certificates are also available as IRA types.
This certificate is a favorite of those concerned that future
rates will climb ahead of current rates. With this CD, if rates go up later,
just say "bump it up" any time before it matures, and we'll raise your APY to our
prevailing rate.
The rate is adjusted by the credit union on a
quarterly basis—that way, your account will keep up with prevailing competitive rates on
CDs that have the same term. Best of all, you can make additional deposits of any amount at
any time. And it's only $500 to get started.
Your deposits are federally insured to $100,000 by the NCUA, an insurance which is
equal to that offered by banks.
