Donors generously helped us save lives during our 60th anniversary blood drive
Our 60th anniversary our blood drive on July 29 was a great success! Our goal was to
collect at least 60 units and we beat our goal significantly by collecting
76 units. We had just over 100 people sign up to donate. Thank you to eveyone who signed up,
even if you found out you couldn't donate. Your effort made this drive a success.

Our anniversary blood drive was part of celebrating our 60th year of serving this
community. Joseph Calbreath from KMTR also celebrated a personal milestone with us as
he made his 100th donation at our drive.
There is an urgent need for donated blood in our community. Since we began hosting
the bloodmobile at the end of 2003, our members and employees have donated almost 60 gallons
of blood, which has benefited hundreds of people. Help us benefit hundreds more by
signing up for one of our blood drives in 2009.

more about giving
blood, please visit these LMBB links. Currently, LMBB has greater need for the blood types
listed at this link.
