Northwest Community Credit Union Statement of Commitment
Public Service/Corporate Citizenship
Northwest Community Credit Union supports worthwhile local organizations with direct
financial support or other in-kind contributions, and by participating in public service
activities. We understand the importance of good Corporate Citizenship and support the
Philosophy of People Helping People; we strive to help raise the overall level of
economic and social well being of those in our community.
Community Groups currently receiving financial or Other In-Kind Support and current
Public service Activities:
Northwest Community Makeover
The Credit Union is committed to giving back to the communities it serves and has created
the Northwest Community Makeover program to help nonprofit organizations throughout its
service areas. The goals of “Community Makeover” projects are:
- To assist a local nonprofit agency by providing materials, furnishings, labor and
financing for a construction project that will enhance the agency’s services and
ultimately be of benefit to its clients.
- To raise awareness of local businesses, which will be donating construction
materials, labor and other supplies and products needed to meet the requirements of
the nonprofit agency.
